Council members consist of medical doctors, academicians, businessmen and social workers. It has total 36 academic institutions imparting education from KG to PG and college education in various fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Vocational Guidance, computer Science.

It is chaired by Dr G R Ekbote. He is a Dean of Medical faculty (Pune University), Management council member and Academic council member of University of Pune.

Modern College of Pharmacy was established in August 1998. It is located near the Pimpri Chinchawad Industrial Belt. Many pharma industries are located nearby like Emcure Pharma Ltd, Hindustan Antibiotics Limited, Nu Life, Biostar, Li Taka etc.

The college labs are well equipped with required instruments and equipment. The college faculty consists of members from various es-teemed educational organizations.

Students very well organize and con-duct the National Pharmacy Week. The students also interact with the community by conducting community medicine awareness survey, pharmacist attitude and practices survey, various camps such as blood donation camp, blood group detection and database generation of surrounding area etc.
